Japanese Kanji Dai 大

This kanji means big
This is originally coming from the person who is spreading his both arms as you can see.
This is the right stroke order

onyomi dai, kunyomi ookii, busyu is dai, this whole kanji itself can be busyu.

let’s see some examples.

ookii kuruma, means big car

watashiwa ookii kurumaga sukidesu.

means I like big cars.

suki means like and

if we add dai infront of suki, it means like a lot

kandai means having a big heart

so kandai na hito means
the peroson who is thoughtful, does not blame, generous, big-hearted, and can forgive someone.

彼は寛大な人です。means he is a generous person.

いだい means great and it’s formal

あなたは偉大です
means you are great

大体 means mostly, approximatly

理解する means understan
大体理解できた
means I could understand mostly

大体200ドルほどでした

大体 also can mean originally. In this meaning, it is used with a negative emotion, such as to blame someone.

In this case, it can be replaced with そもそも、or 元はと言えば.
All of them mean, originally

When person B wants to blame person A for a problem, person B would say

大体あいつが悪いんだよ

He or She is the cause of the problem

This is very casual and

大体あの人が悪いんですよ

is more formal

器が大きい

うつわ means container or caliver

器が大きい can be the same with 寛大

かれは器がおおきい

means he is very tolerant, or he is a man of high caliber.

a??a��is used in the following cases:
1. case1 when it precedes a word whose first sound is in the a?Y, a?�, or a?? row

When “o” is placed after a noun, that indicates that the noun is the direct object

Noun = something
